1) Al Ferrell is not volunteering his time with the snow removal. He is an employee of the lake.

Dale Farwig made a motion to accept the minutes as read providing this correction. Gary Ryan seconded the motion the same, which passed unanimously.

TREASURER'S REPORT (Dale Farwig)

DIRECTOR'S REPORTS

SECURITY (Gary Ryan)
Charges were filed against Matt Murry for the July 25th, 2002 gate break. Thankfully Wayne was able to identify this individual and his vehicle based on the photos taken from the video cameras.

Photos were provided to Wayne to keep on the lookout for the responsible party(s) involved in the February 2nd and February 4th, 2003 incidents.

The $185.00 dollars has been recovered from the January 2nd, 2002 gate break incident.

BE ON THE ALERT FOR THIEVES IN A RED CAR. ESPECIALLY IF YOU OWN AN OFF ROAD VEHICLE!!

After the January 8th, 2002 theft of Josh Gant's ATV a red car pulled half way up Mr. Robert's driveway and two people go out on the passenger side and went up to the house. This was at 2:00 a.m.. After the dog barked Mr. Robert's got up and turned the floodlight on. Thirty seconds later the two ran from the side of the house into the car, and the car sped away out of the lake. The total elapsed time that these two individuals were up by the house was 3 minutes. Mr. Robert's does own a motorized off-road vehicle, and is said to be what these individuals were in pursuit of.

BE ON THE LOOKOUT IF YOUR CHILD IS AFFILIATED WITH LTC. This is an apparent club, similar to Raintree's club. They are spreading vandalism and graffiti. THE BOARD (and I'm sure in agreement with the residents) WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR. FURTHERMORE, IF THESE INDIVIDUALLS ARE CAUGHT THE LAKE WILL PRESS CHARGES!!

Gary is planning to send a letter to Mr. Kley, the owner of the 220+ acres of ground directly East of the beach. It is on this land that these hunters and carriers of guns is going to and coming from. Gary plans on finding a way to come to a tactful agreement to make it aware to Mr. Kley that these individuals being granted permission are not allowed to enter the property from within Lake Tishomingo. Furthermore, to make these hunters aware of a bus stop including kids and parents within the vicinity.

BUILDING (Carol Kline)
Carol wanted to remind everyone to request and have submitted his or her application(s) no less than 10 days prior to the start of the next monthly Board Meeting. Her Number is 636-274-0468.

MAINTENANCE (ED Mitchell)
Nothing was presented from or for Maintenance at this time.

SILT (Becky Harper)
Silt Committee met on 1/9/03 to discuss the Spring start-up and budget.

The dredge will be started periodically through the winter months for battery recharging. Butch and Al will be helping Todd clean out ditches. Al has been working with Todd on snow removal.

The Committee is looking forward to the upcoming start-up and hope for another safe operating season.

I would like to say Thank You to the Committee members for their commitment and devotion even when it seems as if there is very little appreciation, and to the lot owners who have donated and cooperated to make our operation a success.

A special Thanks to Matt Hollaran for your research.

Silt Committee Chairperson
Becky Harper

ROADS (Gary Ryan)
It appears the hole at the entrance to Tishomingo Rd. from Hillsboro-House Springs road is getting bigger. Gary had attempted to fix this with some gravel, but that appears to not be enough. Therefore, Gary has gotten in contact with Ed to have Todd pick up some mix, and try to fix this hole.

Cold patch will not adhere right in the weather we have been having; so the plan is to get some hot patch once the weather heats up to correct this.

WEB SITE (Janet Hirsch)
There was nothing presented from or for Web Site at this time.

OLD BUSINESS
Newspapers are going out this week.

Chris had asked in the previous meeting on how the Building Regulations will be presented to the people. It was determined then that the Board would ask Rick once he returned to February's monthly meeting. Therefore, the question was asked at this time.

Answer: It was determined with Carol that these Building Regulations, Old and New, would be a side-by-side, bullet-pointed comparison, in a separate mailing sometime around May 1st.

NEW BUSINESS
Ken Lanning stated that a way to address the hunting issue is to place the Purple "no-trespassing, no-hunting," on the front 75 or so front feet and the 10 or so deep trees that the Lake owns.

Ken Lanning also said that he has noticed some areas of road damage from the snowplow. Gary said he would take a look at it.

Ken Lanning wanted it to be known that Todd has apparently thrown leaves in people's yards while digging out the ditches. Rick said that this would be addressed with Ed.

An agreement was made that the flag needs to be replaced. It was also asked if there was some way we could place a light shining on the flag. LTIA said they would donate a flag, and the light would require further research due to the road issue.

Becky Harper asked what is the proposed projected budget of this years dredge operating expense. Rick stated that Dale is still trying to track down the hard numbers, and he and Dale would be getting back to her on the issue within a week or two.

Kathy Hopfer made a motion to adjourn. Chris Townsend seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 8:09 p.m..
